Welcome to Golden Fleece Farm! The farm was founded in December 2019 and is run by me, Veronica Green-Gott. After interning at the Equiery and Practical Horseman, I spent 18 months working as part of a team to craft effective marketing, social media, and public relations strategies for some of the leading IT firms in the Frederick area. Now, I offer high-quality content creation for equestrians, specializing in educational articles and social media content.

I grew up with four cats, too many chickens, dogs, and horses. I first fell in love with horses when I was eight years old. My older sister’s trainer would give me pony rides on the school horses after she was done teaching. Those few moments in the saddle sparked a love of all things equine that has carried me through the AA hunter/jumper ring, eventing barns, and dressage arenas. I am a die-hard bleeding heart and will always have a soft spot for rescues. I’ve assisted with training foals and feral horses, as well as started neglected horses under saddle. Currently, I own a small farm with two off-the-track thoroughbreds, two goats, and an excellent farm dog, Maddi.

LB is my six year old Maryland-bred thoroughbred. She raced 9 times in total and was a pretty below-average racehorse. I found her through the Foxie G Foundation. Buzz is a 15 year old off the track thoroughbred who had a much more successful racing career than LB, with winnings totaling around $60,000. Maddi is my beloved mutt. We were supposed to be on our way to the beach, and came home with a new puppy from the Calvert County Humane Society instead. All of my animals, inspired me to pursue marketing for equestrians as a profession so I could combine my passion and my marketing expertise.

The equestrian world is a unique multi-layered beast that is difficult to navigate. Those who do not speak the “native language” can quickly become lost and confused. My deep understanding of equestrians of all disciplines molds every piece of content that I write.

Horse owners are dedicated, hard-working, and compassionate. They value content for equestrians that’s authentic. I’m proud to provide content creation for equestrians that is built from a deep understanding of riders and their horses.
